A Good Body

The "A Good Body" is an excerpt from Eve's perception. This explained the standard in society in terms of beauty.

Eve was so obsess to have a nice figure because she believe that if she has a good body, many of her fellow will like and admire her. She even admire the model girl in the magazine. She claimed, that girl is her nightmare because she want to be like her, looks beautiful with her sexy and nice body.

At the end of the excerpt, I learned that having a fat or chubby body can not lower down our dignity and prosperity as an individual. Don't too obsess to have a sexy body, you do everything just to own a nice figure. Thus, you encountered struggles that might bring us into despair and anxiety. It doesn't matter if we are thin or large, because what matters most is on how we take good care of our soul. I realized, too much obsession in physical appearance is not really good at all. Soul first before anything else. For a soul is the most important thing anyone can have and it needs looking after.

This tells the relationship status between the main character and her husband, and how the main character overcame and handled her husband's mistakes.     Penelope was the main character in this story. She was a martyr kind of wife because despite of many wrong doings of her husband against her, she still chose to be silent and did nothing but to remain as a wife on him. The strangeness of beauty introduced the culture in Japan which is the arrange marriage and it emphasize the characters Chie and Kan. The process of arrange marriage would be finalize with the help of the go between or the matchmaker who will receive a fee in providing background of the potential mates that are well educated and rich. Chie and Kan with their parents and relatives met in a tea house. That placed will be the center of their agreement.
